BIBLE IS THE WORD OF GOD
|
The whole counsel of God concerning all things
necessary for His own glory, man's salvation, faith and life, is either
expressly set down in Scripture, or by good and necessary consequence may be
deduced from Scripture: unto which nothing at any time is to be added. (WCF)

2Ti_3:16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for
correction, for instruction in righteousness:

ONE GOD IN TRINITY
|
The Trinity is the term employed to signify the central doctrine of
the Christian religion — the truth that in the unity of the Godhead there are
Three Persons, the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, these Three Persons
being truly distinct one from another.
|
In the unity of the Godhead there be three
Persons of one substance, power, and eternity: God the Father, God the Son,
and God the Holy Ghost
|
In this divine and infinite Being there are three subsistences, the
Father, the Word or Son, and Holy Spirit, of one substance, power, and
eternity, each having the whole divine essence, yet the essence undivided:
|
1Jn 5:7 For there are three
that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and
these three are one.
