CHANGE WILL HAPPEN TO A SAVED MAN

When a soul is redeemed, Christ gives a new heart. Implicit in that change of heart is a new set of desires - a desire to please God, to obey, and to reflect His righteousness. If such a change does not occur, there is no reason to think genuine salvation has taken place -John MacArthur

SINO ANG TINUTUKOY = ANG MGA LIGTAS NA

ANO ANG KASAMA NG KALIGTASAN = A NEW HEART

ANO ANG NANGYAYARI SA ISANG TAO NA MAY NEW HEART = NEW SET OF DESIRES

PAANO KUNG ANG ISANG TAO AY NAGSASABING SAVED NA SYA, PERO NEVER NA

NAGKAROON NG CHANGE OF HEART = THERE IS NO REASON TO THINK THAT SALVATION HAS TAKEN PLACE

PUEDE

Ano ang maaasahan sa ganong sitwasyon?

SIGURADONG KIKILOS ANG ESPIRITU SA BUHAY NYA AT BABAGUHIN SIYA, SIYA AY PARANG WORKMANSHIP, ISANG TAO NA HINUHUBOG HANGGANG MAGING KAWANGIS NI KRISTO.

The Sovereignty of God over all the affairs of all men

Isa 10:5-15
(5)  O Assyrian, the rod of mine anger, and the staff in their hand is mine indignation.
(6)  I will send him against an hypocritical nation, and against the people of my wrath will I give him a charge, to take the spoil, and to take the prey, and to tread them down like the mire of the streets.
(7)  Howbeit he meaneth not so, neither doth his heart think so; but it is in his heart to destroy and cut off nations not a few.

(12)  Wherefore it shall come to pass, that when the Lord hath performed his whole work upon mount Zion and on Jerusalem, I will punish the fruit of the stout heart of the king of Assyria, and the glory of his high looks.
(13)  For he saith, By the strength of my hand I have done it, and by my wisdom; for I am prudent: and I have removed the bounds of the people, and have robbed their treasures, and I have put down the inhabitants like a valiant man:
 (15)  Shall the axe boast itself against him that heweth therewith? or shall the saw magnify itself against him that shaketh it? as if the rod should shake itself against them that lift it up, or as if the staff should lift up itself, as if it were no wood.

THE SOVEREIGNTY OF GOD DISPLAYED
How wonderful and powerful is our God
1.     God is in control of all things, all are mere instruments in God’s hands
God can use even the wicked as instruments of righteousness
a.     (5)  O Assyrian, the rod of mine anger, and the staff in their hand is mine indignation.
b.    The Assyrian did not know the Lord, yet the Lord is the one who made them mighty in battle.
c.     They conquered Samaria, and the outskirts of Judah
d.    See also Jer. 27:5-7

2.   He is so powerful and wonderful that even while you are doing your own will, you are performing according to his overall plan for the earth
God accomplished his holy will using evil men in their own evil works
a.     (6)  I will send him against an hypocritical nation, and against the people of my wrath
b.    Because God was angry with the nation Israel, the hypocritical nation
c.     To promote righteousness, God must punish Israel
d.    God’s decree is to send the wicked Assyrians to punish them

3.    His power and control does not make you a robot. God can do his will in you and through you without violating your FREE WILL.

a.     He did it before to Pharaoh.  Ex. 9:14, 16, 27, 34, 35
b.   He did it to the king of Assyria. READ: 2 Kings 18:9-13
c.    And now before the gates of Hezekiah - READ The boasting of Assyrian spokesman - 2 Kings 18:33-34
d.   They even use the Lord’s name and Isaiah prophecy to make Hezekiah surrender without a fight.
e.     2Ki 18:25  Am I now come up without the LORD against this place to destroy it? The LORD said to me, Go up against this land, and destroy it.

4.    God can change your heart, so that while you are doing God’s will, your heart is right with God. God did not change the heart of The Assyrian, therefore he remained wicked

a.   God’s plan is to send Sennacherib to punish his people - Isa. 10:6 – I will send him against a hypocritical nation ….
b.   But Sennacherib did not think so. (7)  Howbeit he meaneth not so, neither doth his heart think so; but it is in his heart to destroy and cut off nations not a few.
c.    He has another plan, because his heart is not right.
d.   All your actions and all events in your life contribute to God’s plan. Ultimately God does not judge you by the events, but God judges you by your heart.
e.     GOD does not need to do anything to make you wicked, you already are wicked.
f.      But God has to give you grace, to make you righteous, to change your heart.

5.    God will punish The Assyrian because he had a stout heart
a.   Read vs. 12,13
b.   He did not give God exclusive glory
c.    The punishment was accomplished in 2 Kings 19:35
d.   If God does not give you a new heart, it doesn’t matter what achievements you reached, you end up in eternal death.
e.    An eternity where you will be wicked forever. (Rev. 22:11)

China says NO to peace talks if based on Hague ruling

My advice now, we have no choice but PEACE THROUGH STRENGTH. Get all our allies together and arm ourselves, go nuclear if possible. It's the only language they understand.

Homosexual hires woman so he can have children from his own seed

MY OBJECTIONS:

1. I object to paying a woman to have children and then just like a supermarket, have the babies picked up after delivery.

2. I object to a man choosing a woman, based on her beauty, to impregnate her, without love, without marriage, without relationship, but just like a breeding instrument

3. God condemns the gay lifestyle and all those who say they are godly should also condemn it and object to children being raised by them.

4. I object to the NEWS AGENCIES who because of their political correctness wrote an article in a way that it seems these things are acceptable human practices for our society.

Difference between Bible Study and Worship Service

There are some Christians who would equate the two and are satisfied with a Bible Study in the home and get rid of the guilty feeling in their minds by saying secretly, "it's the same"

But in truth, it's not the same.

When the Lord was on earth, He went into the Synagogue to teach and He went into the temple to pray.  He called the gathering of the Jews outside the temple, "their synagogue" (Matt. 12:9) but He called the temple which Herod built, "My Father's house"

As the Lord built the church and gave himself for it, it is the temple of the Holy Spirit on earth.  Each New Testament church is a temple, a house of prayer.  When the congregation gathers to worship God, it is not a Bible study but a worshipful gathering of believers.

A Bible study group is profitable and needful but it must not be a substitute for worship of the whole church.

Question and Answer about Sinful Christians

I believe in Christ, I know he saved me, but I still have this struggle about lusts.

1 Peter 4:1-2  Forasmuch then as Christ hath suffered for us in the flesh, arm yourselves likewise with the same mind: for he that hath suffered in the flesh hath ceased from sin;  (2)  That he no longer should live the rest of his time in the flesh to the lusts of men, but to the will of God.

I want to live the rest of my life in the will of God, but it seems there is a fight within me, I still have sins that I do and afterwards I am sad because I did sin.  Is this normal for a Christian?

Galatians 5:17  For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other: so that ye cannot do the things that ye would.

So what should I do?

Romans 6:6  Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin.

I don't want to serve sin, but it seems some sins are too strong for me.

Ephesians 4:22-24  That ye put off concerning the former conversation the old man, which is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts;  (23)  And be renewed in the spirit of your mind;  (24)  And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness.

The Blessings of the Lord

The blessing of the LORD, it maketh rich, and he addeth no sorrow with it.
(Proverbs 10:22)

The blessing is not primarily material riches but always spiritual.

There are blessings of the Lord which the spiritual men enjoy and makes them rich in truth, rich in works, rich in words.

It is true that there are promises of prosperity in the Bible to the people of God, but material prosperity is promised to the nation of Israel, and most of the OLD TESTAMENT passages are about material riches for Israel, but the goal is always spiritual riches.

After these things the word of the LORD came unto Abram in a vision, saying,

Fear not, Abram: I am thy shield, and thy exceeding great reward.
(Genesis 15:1)

When we consider salvation and God Himself as our riches, the greatest blessing that ever happened, more than any prosperity, then we are truly blessed.

We acknowledge that God does not stop there, He also has some material blessings to those whom He want to bless.  That is as He wills, according to His plan, when divine providence so requires.

The devil also blesses however, so how do we know?

When it is of the Lord, directly, He addeth no sorrow to it, but when from the enemy, then with riches, with material prosperity comes sorrow, you are sad that you became rich, because it came thru evil or the costs are high spiritually. Some get rich but do not have family and friends any more
